Job Overview
Insurance Sales Agent – AAA The Auto Club Group (ACG) – Full‑time, W‑2. Base pay plus incentives, quarterly ramp‑up earnings, and full benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG‑branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high‑traffic branch.
- Leverage proven sales methodologies and insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow ACG’s insurance portfolio.
- Consistently overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales while maintaining long‑term client relationships.
- Drive performance by meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals.
- Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions; quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
- Respond to customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products.
- Identify and execute cross‑sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business to maximize overall member value.
- Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license.
- Active State Life & Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
- Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year(s) of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, computer automated business environment (e.g., financial/banking).
- Insurance experience is helpful—but not required; training will be provided to obtain necessary licenses.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities, with disciplined lead tracking, follow‑up, and pipeline management.
- Consultative selling techniques supported by deep product knowledge.
- Proven prospecting and business‑development skills, including generating new opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, and networking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer‑first mindset.
- Results‑driven with clear ambition, motivation, and accountability for achieving and exceeding performance goals.
- Proficient in leveraging technology to support sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong listening and discovery skills to quickly assess customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Base pay plus performance incentives (average annual earnings: $57,000–$87,000+).
- Supplemental ramp‑up pay for first six months: $200 per week (months0–2), $150 per week (months3–4), $100 per week (months5–6).
