Job Description

The University of Florida, Department of Pediatrics, Neuroimaging - Developmental Network Neurobiology Laboratory seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join an interdisciplinary team working on projects involving medical image analysis, neuroimaging, and neuroscience. The position is based in the Developmental Network Neurobiology Lab in the UF School of Medicine in collaboration with the UF Artificial Intelligence initiative. The successful candidate will build large-scale models for neuroimaging and neuroscience, harmonize public and private datasets, and deploy models for real-world applications in developmental and clinical neuroscience.

$61,008-$64,356 commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. degree in the appropriate area of specialization.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in functional MRI and functional connectivity MRI (data acquisition, preprocessing, analysis).
  • High-dimensional computer science experience using data-driven techniques (graph theory, ICA, machine learning).
  • Experience in other imaging modalities (DTI; MEG) and multimodal integration.
  • Experience with AFNI/SUMA, SPM, FSL, Free surfer, UNIX/LINUX computational environments and programming skills (MATLAB, R, C++, JAVA, Python).
  • Experience in studying children, especially with autism, and other clinical populations.
  • Ph.D. in Neuroscience (preferred), Computer Science, or related Neurobiology field.
  • Strong record of early career research and excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
