SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor

• Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
• Installs and repairs electrical wiring and replaces lights.
• Assists with installation and repairs of HVAC equipment.
• Installs and repairs kitchen equipment
• Assists with maintenance of energy management system.
• Keeps abreast of new technology related to cabling, wiring, etc.
• Keeps the maintenance supervisor informed about work in order to insure an efficient operation.
• Demonstrates precautionary measures to ensure safety when working with ladders and scaffolds.
• Works effectively and cooperatively with administrators, teachers and staff.
• Handles all duties in a timely and organized manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Follows safety requirements.
• Maintains clean and organized work vehicle.
• Maintain acceptable driving record (driving record checked yearly).
• Maintains equipment and tools.
• Works in an effective and safe manner.
• Climb, kneel, crunch.
• On call driving, after hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist in yearly safety inspections.
• Adheres to all policy and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Medium Work: Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, and/or moving 10-25 pounds frequently.
• Heavy Work: Occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds, and/or frequently moving 25-50 pounds, and/or constantly moving 10-20 pounds.
