Plumber

Performs a variety of duties in and around Oak Hammock including repairs and maintains pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commons and healthcare buildings. Troubleshoots and repairs stoppages, breaks or leaks in waste, water, vent, return lines and medical gas systems. Winterizes plumbing systems susceptible to damage.

Performance Conditions:
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day, performing such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, balancing and to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing. Carries out detailed written or verbal instructions.

Possibly hazardous due to equipment failure, electrical shock, heavy lifting, falls or burns.

Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Specialized training, certification, licensure or schooling preferred 2
-3 years of residential or commercial experience. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing. Valid Florida Driver's License with good driving record. This individual will need to be empathetic, energetic and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior population. All applicants must complete and pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening.
