Warehouse Refrigeration Spec Asst. – The position will assist/train in overseeing governmental compliance, maintenance, and repair of our Warehouse Ammonia Refrigeration System. This role also supports our warehouse building maintenance department.

• Assist in maintaining all evaporators, condensers, compressors, vessels, and pumps, including overhauls and rebuilds.
• Assist in keeping accurate records on repairs and walk-through inspections of the entire refrigeration system.
• Assist in maintaining an acceptable record-keeping system to comply with EPA (including PSM and PHA compliance), OSHA, ANSI, and Homeland Security.
• Assist in the annual reporting of testing and inspection of:
• Vibration Testing
• Oil Sample Analysis
• Refrigeration Water Treatment
• Thermo-graphic Scans
• Assist in the maintenance of all interior and exterior lighting on Ben

• Assist in all building electrical systems and repair.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and repair of HVAC (office air conditioning system).
• Build and fabricate guards to protect equipment.

• Must have a basic understanding of electrical control switches.
• A basic understanding of electrical wiring.
• Basic welding and metal fabrication skills.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Certification in ammonia refrigeration.
• Must be willing to obtain Hazwopper Certification.
• Must have all hand tools to complete assigned work.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge in the use of a personal computer.
• High School diploma or GED.
