We are hiring a Landscape/Facilities Technician for an immediate 6‑month contract that may become permanent. The role is based in Gainesville, FL. The offered hourly rate is $19.00, 40 hour week with overtime as necessary.

• Assist in the upkeep of the organization’s external grounds.
• Plant and care for flowers and shrubbery.
• Maintain lawn and sprinkler system.
• Maintain lawn equipment.
• Patrol grounds to check on conditions.
• May coordinate efforts of grounds‑keeping vendors.
• Support the maintenance team as needed.

• 1–3 years of landscaping and general maintenance experience.
• Landscape design experience a plus.
• HS/GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic computer skills (Outlook/Word).
• Proven ability to handle and organize multiple competing projects; displays a sense of urgency.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong team player with a great attitude.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. The client‑site nature of this role does not support OPT or STEM OPT employment, including completion of Form I‑983.
