- Documentation verifying minimum qualifications (High School Diploma or equivalent, professional painting experience) required.
- Completion of a favorable National Agency Check background investigation clearance required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of professional painting experience or related field.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, grasp, push, and pull.
- Manual dexterity with hands and fingers.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to use ladders and lifts.
- Apply paints, stains, and waterproofing materials to interior and exterior of buildings and structures, ensuring smooth, even finishes and no surface damage.
- Prepare and clean surfaces using pressure washers, scrapers, chemicals, and sanders; maintain 90% cleanliness before painting.
- Caulk and putty joints and trim prior to painting.
- Comply with hazardous waste management regulations; manage inventory and dispose of damaged or outdated materials.
- Document work hours, materials used, and complete work orders promptly.
- Proficiency in painting and wallpapering techniques and surface preparation.
- Knowledge of selecting, using, maintaining, and cleaning brushes, rollers, spray guns, and wallpapering tools.
- Skilled in mixing paints and allied products.
- Organizational and time‑management skills for coordinating work assignments.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
