Comfort Temp Heating and Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Lead to drive field execution and crew performance. This role requires a hands‑on leader with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record of successfully delivering residential and light commercial installations. The ideal candidate will lead installation teams, ensure code compliance, manage project documentation, and serve as the primary field representative to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead and supervise installation crew members on job sites.
• Install HVAC systems including split systems, package units, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, load calculations, installation specifications, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Ensure installations comply with local, state, and federal codes.
• Perform start‑up, testing, and commissioning of new systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field.
• Maintain clear communication with the office, sales team, and customers.
• Ensure proper documentation of jobs, including photos, permits, and completion forms.
• Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and professionalism.
• Ensure all tools, vehicles, and equipment are maintained and in good working order.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on all job sites.

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or lead installer role preferred.
• EPA Certification (Universal preferred).
• Strong understanding of refrigerant piping, electrical wiring, duct design, and airflow principles.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, rooftops, and varying weather conditions.
