Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Technician with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities. This position will work with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure sound design and seamless installation of fire alarm solutions. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a focus on customer relations.

Key Responsibilities
* Review system layouts and coordinate with engineering, project management, and sales departments.
* Conduct field surveys and produce daily project logs.
* Program, commission, and secure final acceptance of complex fire alarm systems from customers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
* Produce detailed commissioning and inspection reports in accordance with NFPA standards.
* Perform complex troubleshooting and implement effective resolutions.
* Deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
* Program systems using laptop computers.
* Oversee project inventory and manage vehicle inventory.
* Provide support and guidance to other technicians.
* Manage job scheduling and progress efficiently, with a strong focus on quality.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** A minimum of three years of fire alarm experience is required. Candidates with two or more years of experience will be considered if they hold a NICET certification.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Knowledge of current fire alarm systems.
* Ability to program and commission mid-range fire alarm systems using a laptop.
* Knowledgeable in NFPA 72 code requirements.
* Familiarity with Florida fire procedures, filing, and requirements.
* Ability to read fire system design drawings.
* Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications
* NICET certification.
* Experience with Access Control.
* Programming experience.
