Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Foreman to provide installation services for all forms of fire sprinkler systems and components. This is a key position requiring attention to detail in all aspects of NFPA-based fire sprinkler systems. The role involves leading installations, managing project progress, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

The ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively is integral to this position.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the installation of new, retrofit, and tenant improvement fire sprinkler projects.
* Read and interpret blueprints to install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
* Manage job scheduling and progress in a timely and cost-effective manner, with a focus on quality and safety.
* Cut, thread, and groove pipe to specifications using tools such as saws and pipe threaders.
* Provide support, guidance, and expertise to other field installers and helpers.
* Conduct inspections and interact with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for testing.
* Coordinate with various contractors and trades to resolve conflicts in the field.
* Understand the full scope of work and identify any changes or additions.
* Interpret drawings and install sprinkler systems based on BIM design.
* Comply with industry standard procedures and company safety programs.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** A minimum of five years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry, specifically running work. Experience running projects up to $500k is required for a Fitter role, and over $500k for a Foreman role. A seasoned Foreman should have 10+ years of experience running large projects.
*
* Education:

** High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Sprinkler Apprenticeship program is required.
** Technical

Skills:

** Strong working knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action systems, as well as backflows and fire pumps. Must have a strong understanding of all sprinkler system components. Knowledge of NFPA 14, 20, 24, and 25 code requirements is necessary. Ability to read and install from fire system design drawings and use trade-appropriate tools is required.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with the installation of underground piping.
* Certification in backflow inspection and repair.
* NICET II certification.

Additional Requirements
* Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification.
* Willingness to utilize electronic devices and software.
* Must be physically fit to perform the demanding work of the trade, including lifting and working from heights.
* Ability to travel occasionally overnight as needed.
* Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Must pass a drug test and background check.
