Meridian Behavioral Health is a private, non
-profit organization with roots in the mental health community since the 1960's. Since that time, we've expanded to 13 counties in North Central Florida. We us a multidisciplinary approach to treating to those facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders.

• Complete bio-psychosocial assessment of assigned clients within 24 hour of admission.
• Counsel substance abuse and dual diagnosis clients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes.
• Complete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding the patients'histories and progress, services provided, and other required information.
• Develop individualized client treatment plans within 7 days of admission, basedon research, clinical experience, and client histories.
• Review and evaluate clients' progress in relation to measurable goals and objectives described in treatment and care plans.
• Interview clients, review records, and confer with other professionals in orderto evaluate individuals' mental and physical condition, and to determine their suitability for participation in a specific program.
• Intervene as advocate for clients or patients in order to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations

• Master'sdegree in social work, counseling, psychology or closely related field.
• LCSW,LMHC, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist
• Atleast one year of experience in the mental health field
• Knowledge of the Baker Act is preferred

  *** Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements

Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements. In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years.

Drivers over 65 years old must provide a current doctor's note stating they have no driving limitations.
