• Ability to work with children
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be able to swim a distance of 50 yards
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
• Must pass background examinations (included with training)

• Reports directly to and supports the Aquatics Leader and/or Business Owner(s).
• Conduct classes in a fun and gentle environment, following current teaching methods, policies, and safety and emergency procedures as detailed in the British Swim School curriculum.
• Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Rescues and administers first aid when necessary.
• Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills.
• Helps maintain order and organization on the Pool Deck.
• Attend required/mandatory workshops and in-service training.

Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification preferred but not required! Paid Certification programs related to this job are provided by this employer.
