Position: Warehouse Associate II (Mid Shift)

Job Summary

Warehouse Associate II – responsible for order picking, verification, and loading of customer or carrier vehicles in a safe manner. Must be familiar with forklift procedures and maintain efficient, safe operations.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 10:00AM – 6:00PM.

Essential Duties
  • Practice incident and accident prevention, demonstrating safe behavior in all activities.
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification by attending in‑house training and completing daily check sheets.
  • Troubleshoot work‑related issues and communicate with maintenance, Shipping Lead, or Logistics Manager.
  • Work safely and keep work areas clean; prioritize tasks with Shipping Lead.
  • Drive forklift safely through the warehouse, mindful of pedestrian traffic.
  • Participate in cycle counting events and adjust schedule to meet inventory deadlines.
  • Ship items according to FIFO principles; prepare products for shipping by reviewing packing slips, hand‑picking, and assembling pallets.
  • Arrange pallets on flatbeds following weight restrictions and driver input.
  • Ensure correct product delivery by reviewing packing slips and verifying product on truck.
  • Stretch wrap accessory pallets, adjusting height and tension as needed.
  • Verify product quantity for shipment and receiving by counting and signing Picking Slip and Bill of Lading.
  • Learn safety hazards and job procedures via job safety analysis (JSA).
  • Learn software programs by reading manuals and procedures.
  • Suggest improvements in work methods to Logistics Manager.
  • Load and unload van trailers safely, using dock locks and chocks to hold trailer steady.
  • Learn hazardous material safety for spills and transport; earn and maintain HAZMAT certification.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by Logistics Manager.
  • Review email and department communications daily; maintain a good attendance record.
  • Maintain positive relationships with plant employees and other business contacts.
  • Use process‑improvement tools to drive continuous improvement of plant and business processes.
  • Follow and document Hazardous Materials Transportation Guidelines for all shipments.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast‑paced logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • 6 months of GAF experience in a Logistics and Shipping position (Warehouse I).
  • Experience supporting logistics, customer care, and business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond professionally and promptly.
  • Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, organizational and reporting abilities.
  • Independent problem‑solving skills and commitment to safety.
  • Highly self‑motivated with strong teamwork orientation.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Technical knowledge: troubleshooting logistics, carrier, and customer challenges; advanced proficiency in GSuite.
  • Familiar with standard warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
Physical Demands

Stationary position, frequently move/traverse; frequently stationary, seated, transport/lift, transport/carry, exerting force (push, pull), ascend/descend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, grasp, feel, communicate/talk or hear, repetitive motions, coordination.

Compensation

Base hourly rate: $26.67. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on geographic location, experience, education, and qualifications.
