Tender Care Medical Services
is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPEC) providing compassionate, specialized care for medically complex children. Join our dedicated team and help children thrive in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

We are seeking a Full-Time/Part-Time Non-Emergency Medical Driverfor our Gainesville location who is compassionate, attentive, and passionate about pediatric healthcare.

Schedule

All Drivers work on a split shift schedule, with an AM and PM transport. The route times may vary due to traffic routes and patient needs. Each Driver is assigned a transport escort on route to monitor the patients while you focus on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Load/Unload wheelchair patients & their belongings
• Safely Transport to and from patient pick ups & drop offs
• Adhere to all Traffic Laws
• Documentation
• Fuel company vehicles as needed
• Cleaning and maintaining vehicle
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA protocols
• Maintain patient and staff safety, confidentiality, and well-being

Required Qualifications

• Clean Driving Record (required)
• DOT Physical and Drug Screen clearance
• Commercial driving experience (preferred)
• First Aid/ CPR Certification (current or willing to obtain)
• Willingness to obtain Level 2 Background Screening Clearance:
• Patience and compassion when working with children with behavioral or developmental challenges
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay attentive in a busy healthcare setting
• Strong observation skills and teamwork
