Reporting To: Supervisor Shipping Receiving
DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to process domestic orders per our S.O.P’s for order fulfillment.
Position will ensure proper storage and organization of warehouse items and perform inventory receipt.
Key Responsibilities- Process the shipment of orders for domestic customers, including, but not limited to implants, instruments, biologics, samples, promotional materials, and test products.
- Perform receipt of inventory functions, including, but not limited to sterile lot, returns, raw materials, manufacturing materials, and dock-to-stock products.
- Understand and follow all departmental SOPs including SOPs related to tissue and tissue related products as appropriate. Document and report any process deviations to team leader. Notify team leader and or Tissue Bank of any issues or concerns related to tissue or tissue related products.
- Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and comply with all hazardous materials shipping requirements.
- Ensure storage of product is organized and accurate. This function includes overstocking and product shelving.
- Assist team leader in resolving problems and complaints related to agents and/or shipping orders.
- Perform functions as directed by team leader associated with equipment monitoring and maintenance.
- Perform material handing duties, including those requiring use of forklift and those associated with unloading/loading trucks.
- Provide on call services as necessary
- Understand and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
- Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
Experience
- 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, and/or warehousing preferred.
Skills, Credentials, Knowledge
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to use forklift.
- Must be able to provide on-call services as needed. Requires valid Florida Drivers License with acceptable driving record.
