Warehouse Auditor II

Summary

A warehouse auditor is responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within a warehouse environment. Their primary role involves conducting audits and inspections of warehouse operations, inventory, and procedures to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse operations, including inventory counts, stock movements, and order processing.
  • Verify inventory levels by comparing them to system records and conducting physical counts.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in inventory records and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse managers and team members to implement best practices for inventory control and accuracy.
  • Generate audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Train warehouse team members on inventory management procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management systems and tools.
  • Perform other office duties as assigned
Safety:
  • Observe and follow health and safety regulations
  • Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
  • Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
  • Assign designated safety personnel
  • Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to warehouse operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Strong attention to details, accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
  • Effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-pace work environment.
