SummaryA warehouse auditor is responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within a warehouse environment. Their primary role involves conducting audits and inspections of warehouse operations, inventory, and procedures to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement.
Role & Responsibilities:- Conduct regular audits of warehouse operations, including inventory counts, stock movements, and order processing.
- Verify inventory levels by comparing them to system records and conducting physical counts.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in inventory records and take corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers and team members to implement best practices for inventory control and accuracy.
- Generate audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.
- Train warehouse team members on inventory management procedures and best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management systems and tools.
- Perform other office duties as assigned
- Observe and follow health and safety regulations
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
- Assign designated safety personnel
- Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to warehouse operations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Strong attention to details, accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
- Effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-pace work environment.
