Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join their team. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes, supporting the company's commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Job Title: Billing Specialist
Location: Gainesville, GA
Pay Range:
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
What's the Job?
- Review and analyze carrier freight bills to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential errors and duplicate billing issues.
- Facilitate the billing process for customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external transportation providers to gather necessary documentation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the efficiency of the billing cycle from freight bill receipt to client payment.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, load planning, or transportation/logistics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to develop a working understanding of internal technologies and processes.
