Administrative & Accounting Assistant
- Part Time (Approximately 30 hours per week)
Administrative & Accounting Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for the organization.
- Assist with weekly payroll.
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Delivers and retrieves the mail to and from the post office daily.
- Manages the company’s UPS and Fed Ex needs.
- Runs errands for the owners and / or office staff on a as needed basis.
- Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Provides onboarding support for the Health Insurance and 401K Plans.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization.
- Ensures operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques. (Printers, copiers, postage meter, kitchen equipment).
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing various administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide Notary Services for the company.

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- 2 years of administrative assistant desired.
- Knowledge of appropriate software including:
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. - Basic knowledge of accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
