AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer in Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL and/or Gainesville, GA
This position is expected to start immediately.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasks
- Preparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progress
- Participating in site visits. Coordinating and assisting superintendent as required
- Receiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)
- Assisting project manager costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
- Working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
- Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Construction Managementor other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship experience in construction management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Remote option is not available
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position
- Sponsorship for work authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
