Superintendent - Commercial Construction

The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role works closely with the Project Manager, Senior Superintendent, subcontractors, and clients to successfully deliver projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations, subcontractors, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Manage self-performed work, labor, and purchased materials within budget.
• Coordinate project startup, scheduling, inspections, and closeout activities.
• Review plans, specifications, RFIs, and change directives.
• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain project documentation, as-built drawings, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Assistant Superintendent experience or 4-6 years of progressive commercial construction field experience.
• Experience with commercial construction projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, scheduling, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Trenching & Excavation Competent Person
• Scaffolding Competent Person
• Confined Space Competent Person
• NPDES Level 1A Blue Card
