Deidre Fresquez State Farm is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support current clients, manage policy service needs, and identify opportunities to offer additional insurance products that may better protect our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and comfortable having conversations that can naturally lead to sales opportunities. You do not need to be a high-pressure salesperson, but you should be confident asking questions, uncovering needs, and recommending solutions when appropriate.
Deidre Fresquez brings more than 22 years of State Farm corporate experience, including time agency is built on professionalism, trust, strong client relationships, and a commitment to helping customers make informed decisions about their insurance needs.
What You’ll DoAs a key member of the agency team, you will help create a smooth and positive experience for new and existing customers while supporting agency growth.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with policy questions, billing questions, changes, and general service needs
- Provide a friendly, professional, and solutions-focused customer experience
- Review customer accounts and identify opportunities for additional coverage
- Pivot service conversations into helpful product recommendations when appropriate
- Support retention by building trust and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assist with follow-up calls, policy reviews, and customer outreach
- Document conversations and update customer information accurately
- Work closely with the sales team to support agency goals
- Help create a positive, organized, and efficient office environment
The ideal candidate is service-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable recognizing opportunities to help customers with additional insurance needs.
Qualifications- Customer service experience required
- Insurance or financial services experience preferred
- Sales experience or comfort with sales conversations preferred
- Property & Casualty license required before starting
- Life & Health license must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to ask thoughtful questions and identify customer needs
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using email, CRM systems, and Windows-based technology
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
