Project Architect Overview
- The Project Architect will lead the design and technical development of large-scale entertainment venues, including arenas, stadiums, and sports complexes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated architectural solutions meeting client goals and requirements.
- Develop creative and technically sound architectural strategies for complex projects from concept through construction phases.
- Utilize Revit to produce detailed construction documents and manage technical aspects of project delivery.
- Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and review work to maintain high-quality standards across projects.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Manage priorities effectively across multiple project phases in a hybrid work environment.
- Contribute to the innovation and excellence of architectural designs for high-profile venues.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead architectural design and documentation processes for major entertainment and sports projects.
- Coordinate across disciplines to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
- Translate client goals and requirements into creative architectural strategies.
- Develop and manage detailed construction documents using Revit software.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout all project phases.
- Guide and mentor junior staff, delegating tasks and reviewing work for quality assurance.
- Manage time and priorities effectively across multiple phases and project scopes.
- Ensure compliance with architectural standards and regulations during project execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 7-10 years of professional architectural experience, focusing on large-scale public or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and experience in construction administration and consultant coordination.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage deliverables on fast-paced projects.
- Strong track record of delivering complex projects from concept through construction phases.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
