Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher for the  academic year. You’ll work each weekday from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. alongside a strong team focused on fostering every child’s growth.

Key Qualifications
  • Valid Georgia Special Education Teaching License with Adaptive Curriculum and Early Childhood Endorsement
  • Experience supporting K-3rd grade students, especially in a self-contained classroom
  • Passion for working with children with autism and applying evidence-based instructional strategies
  • Flexibility, collaboration skills, and dedication to meeting diverse learning needs
  • Strong skills in individualized education program (IEP) development and progress monitoring
Your Role Will Include
  • Leading a self-contained classroom with an average caseload of 10 K-3 students, all identified with autism
  • Designing and delivering adaptive curriculum tailored to individual IEP goals and learning styles
  • Collaborating closely with two supportive paraprofessionals to maximize instructional and behavioral support
  • Assessing student progress, adjusting instructional strategies, and maintaining thorough records
  • Engaging with families and other professionals to foster a positive, growth-centered environment for every student
