How You Will Make An Impact- Lead engineering investigations and troubleshooting efforts across manufacturing, packaging, facilities, and utility systems; conduct root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies for manufacturing, utilities, and packaging to support strategic growth and operational advancement.
- Develop project scopes, collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to establish capital estimates and timelines, and execute capital projects.
- Create detailed user requirements and participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for major capital purchases related to manufacturing, packaging and facility upgrades.
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives that enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Develop engineering documentation including specifications, test protocols, procedures and other materials required for operations and new projects.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project management teams for strategic investments and site‑wide engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional site groups to address engineering‑related issues and ensure alignment across departments.
- Write technical reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Change Controls, and deliver technical training related to project and improvement activities.
- Professional Conduct and Workplace Culture:
Ensure full‑time attendance, exhibit professionalism with business associates, and align daily actions with organizational values.
May be required to attend conferences, seminars, or training courses. Travel may include providing project and expertise support outside primary location.
Education- Minimum
Required:
Bachelor’s in mechanical or chemical engineering, science or related field
- Minimum
Required:
12 plus years in regulated pharmaceutical organization that includes solid dose formulations. - Preferred:
Process engineering and validation background. - Will accept:
Masters in an engineering discipline and 6 years of related experience.
