Position Summary
Using engineering knowledge, works with significant oversight by management and/or more senior engineers to link cross functional groups to solve complex problems.

Position Responsibilities- Integrate tools with Production Control, Accounting, Inventory, Quality, Information Technologies and New Product Engineering.
- Perform time studies and design tooling.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to improve the quality, efficiency and safety of our Global Manufacturing facilities.
- Oversee development of global production status dashboards, coordinating MRP, MES and SCADA systems to provide real‑time labor analysis, takt time, quality and job fulfilment detail for use by cross‑functional operation teams.
- Coordinate programming of the dashboard with Information Technologies; develop feedback with Manufacturing Engineering and train end users on application and use.
- Develop best practices utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, laying out production lines from material receipt to shipment.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering in bottleneck reduction by conducting lead‑time studies, prioritizing actions and participating in the solution.
- Validate that the solution achieved the desired results.
- Utilize Engineering Risk Analysis and Statistics to proactively mitigate quality issues, error‑proof processes and continuously improve operations.
- Big‑picture data analysis, communication and statistics skills.
- Engineering data gathering, including statistics, design of experiments, risk analysis and database analysis.
- Knowledge of manufacturing flow, Six Sigma and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with computer systems and basic programming logic.
Education: B.S. in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering required;
Georgia candidates preferred.
Experience: 1 year of relevant engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
Engineering Design Experience (PROE) a plus.
