Job SummaryThe Financial Analyst I provides entry-level financial support, including data gathering, analysis and reporting within a healthcare finance environment. This role works under close supervision and assists with routine financial tasks to support departmental and organizational decision-making. It identifies opportunities for operational and financial improvement, develops actionable recommendations, and effectively presents findings to all levels of leadership. This role may support various finance functions including budgeting, accounting, financial planning and decision support, depending on organizational needs.

Advanced degree - Preferred Experience:
A minimum of one to three years experience in finance and/or decision support. Healthcare experience preferred.
Skills And Abilities
- Basic financial and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Collect, organize, and reconcile financial data from various sources
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting required by management
- Perform basic financial modeling under supervision
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Support audits and compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned
- Develop foundational knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools, with the goal of building increased independence over time
- Appropriately escalates issues and/or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner
- Performs additional duties as assigned
