Full-Time | $20–23/hour

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:00pm & Friday 8:00am–12:00pm

At Southern Pain & Spine, you’ll be part of a leading interventional pain management practice serving North Georgia and Metro Atlanta. Our board‑certified team provides personalized treatment plans and minimally invasive procedures designed to reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life.

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in both clinical and administrative support. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow, safe clinical environments, and exceptional patient experiences.

• Prepare injections and solutions for pain management procedures
• Clean, prepare, and sterilize instruments and surgical equipment
• Follow physician orders, protocols, and safety procedures precisely

• Collect patient data including vital signs and medical history
• Coordinate information between patients, physicians, and staff
• Check patients in and out with professionalism and efficiency

• Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones and filing reports
• Manage pre‑authorizations and maintain accurate, organized charts
• Assist in coordinating physician schedules and appointments

• Enjoy balancing hands‑on patient care with administrative responsibilities
• Communicate clearly and adapt your style to patients, families, and coworkers
• Maintain strong attention to detail in documentation and recordkeeping
• Work well independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Stay organized and calm in a fast‑paced clinical environment

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant required
• 1+ year of experience with EMR systems required
• Athena EMR experience preferred
• Background in pain management preferred, but not required
