Information Technology System Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer III to help design, support, and evolve enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex systems issues, improving reliability and security, and working hands-on with both on-prem and cloud technologies.

• Support and maintain enterprise systems, servers, and virtualization environments
• Manage hardware, software, and virtual servers; automate where possible
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues and document solutions
• Monitor systems to ensure availability, performance, and security
• Implement backups, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
• Participate in infrastructure design, architecture, and IT projects
• Recommend improvements and best practices based on emerging technologies
• Provide after-hours support for outages or scheduled maintenance as needed

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure or systems administration experience
• Strong experience with virtualization (VMware or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft environments:
  Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, and Microsoft 365
• Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, authentication, and security
• Experience with scripting and automation (Power Shell preferred)
• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Experience supporting multi-site or multi-datacenter environments
• Background in organizations with 500+ employees

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent experience
