Senior Immigration Case Manager (Paralegal)
Location: Gainesville, GA (In-Office)
Compensation: $65,000+ DOE
Holden Law Firm is a fast-paced small immigration law firm serving individuals and families in high-stakes EOIR and USCIS matters in North Georgia. We are seeking a Senior Case Manager to oversee case flow, coordinate staff, and ensure that cases are handled accurately, proactively, and timely.
This role is designed for an experienced immigration professional who is comfortable taking ownership of cases, managing workflow across staff members, and making judgment calls in a complex legal environment. Our clients are navigating an immigration system that is increasingly strict, inconsistent, and unforgiving. Deadlines, accuracy, and follow-through are critical for this position.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee immigration cases from intake through resolution
- Track deadlines, filings, RFEs, court dates, renewals, and follow-ups in Clio
- Make informed judgment calls regarding case flow, priorities, and next steps within established firm processes
- Coordinate workflows between reception and other staff to ensure accountability, follow-through, and timely completion of work
- Review case files, forms, and filings for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and government agencies in English and Spanish
- Flag legal, procedural, or deadline-related issues early and elevate as needed
- Maintain accurate and current case statuses to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Use sound judgment to resolve routine case-flow issues independently, escalating to the attorney when necessary
- 5+ years of immigration law experience (EOIR and USCIS)
- Strong written and spoken English and Spanish (must be fluent in both, with the ability to draft clear, professional client communications and legal documents)
- High level of comfort with technology (Clio, case management systems, PDFs, e‑filing)
- Experience coordinating workflows
- Ability to self‑manage priorities, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision
- $65,000+ per year (DOE)
