About the Role:

The Coordinator, Supply Chain Performance & Optimization provides analytical, operational, and project support to the Supply Chain Performance & Optimization team. This role supports enterprise initiatives focused on utilization management, inventory optimization, operational performance, standardization, benchmarking, continuous improvement, and supply chain optimization across Northeast Georgia Health System. The Coordinator plays a key role in performance reporting, outcome validation, implementation support, project coordination, identification of improvement opportunities, and ensuring alignment between operational execution and enterprise performance objectives.

The role works collaboratively with Operations & Logistics, Strategic Sourcing, Clinical Integration & Value Analysis, Procurement, and Systems & Analytics teams to support enterprise performance initiatives and sustain measurable operational and financial results.

Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Licensure or other certifications:
    Able to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack within 30 days of hire.
  • Educational Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum Experience:

    Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, operations, analytics, process improvement, project coordination, or a related field required
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Preferred Licensure or other certifications:
    Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, APICS, AHRMM, or similar certification

Skills and Abilities
  • Foundational analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain, inventory and utilization data
  • Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, including par levels, replenishment, and inventory management (including LUM distribution)
  • Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies, support data accuracy and integrity efforts
  • Familiarity with ERP system (ex. Workday), reporting tools and spreadsheets resulting in data visibility used to identify supply chain opportunities
  • Understanding of standard work and process consistency, including identification of process opportunities to maximize efficiencies and reduce waste
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to work across front line staff to senior level leadership and facilitate process improvements
  • Basic knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodologies
  • Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (hospital environment – warehouse, clinical areas, etc.)
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize and maintain supply chain performance data related to inventory, utilization and operations for reporting to various teams and leadership
  • Maintain and update dashboards, reports and tracking tools used to monitor performance, and compliance, with operational standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts, overstock situations and inefficiencies
  • Perform routine data validation to ensure accuracy across ERP systems and reporting tools
  • Supports optimization efforts, including par level reviews, adjustments and preparation of reports and data
  • Participates in audits of supply areas to assess compliance with inventory and operational standards
  • Tracks and documents performance improvement initiatives and key outcomes
  • Assists with benchmarking data collection and analysis to support performance comparisons
  • Supports implementation of standardized supply chain workflows and processes; including maintaining action items, logs for savings and adjustments and metrics
  • Collaborates with logistics, supply optimization clinical teams, sourcing, and other supply chain functions to gather feedback and validate issues
