Fabricator​/Welder

Based on related experience, $20-$26/hr

This position is for skilled fabricators with experience in MIG, TIG, Stick, and structural steel weldments. Fabricators must be able to read blueprints and drawings, plan layouts and procedures, determine welding equipment and methods, set components to specifications, prepare and align parts for welding, join components, repair, cut materials, repair machinery, inspect surfaces and structures, and maintain equipment. • Mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick (preferred), and structural steel weldments.
• Experience with pipe weldments and various alloys.
• Use of computer software to clock in/out of work and jobs.
• Proficient with measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Proficient in welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

• Ability to operate a plasma cutter, oxy‑acetylene torch, iron worker, saw, shear.
• Knowledge of weld repair of cast iron.
• Knowledge of hard chrome plating.
• Experience with a lathe (preferred), high‑definition plasma CNC table operation, press brake, roller, and mill (preferred).

• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Able to work on your feet 8-10 hours a day.

• 3 years of welding experience.
• Welding certificate (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Drug‑free workplace.
• Smoke‑free environment.
