Electromechanical Technician

The Electromechanical Technician will perform maintenance, troubleshoot moderately complex program issues, modify or implement programming on computer-controlled systems through regular guidance.

** Principal Accountabilities:*
* + In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used.

+ Perform periodic inspection and maintenance on packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities and other mechanical and electrical systems with limited guidance **.*
* + Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the reliability of plant assets while troubleshooting machinery and automation failures as necessary.

+ Conduct advanced troubleshooting of machinery and automation failures, including motor control devices, input sensing devices and other output devices.

+ Participate in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery

+ Implement and modify programming with direction

* Required Qualifications:

*
* + Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

+ Must be 18 years or older

+ Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation

+ Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

+ Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

+ Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

+ Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice

+ Basic comper skills

+ Experience working in a production or plant environment

+ Have minimum of one year of experience with industrial electrical automation and any mechanical maintenance trade

* + Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP

+ Previous experience with inventory system

+ Experience performing maintenance trades such as welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearings, lubrication, pump and piping systems, or hydraulics and pneumatics
