* Position Summary:

** As a Machine Technician you will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the coolant tank system. Must be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow company policy standards for safety and conduct.
*
* Position Responsibilities:

*** Maintain coolant recovery system, Smart Skim
* Monitor coolant percentages in Smart Skim/CNC equipment
* Maintain coolant tanks and coolant pumps
* Maintain and repair chip conveyors and parts conveyor
* Sump and clean coolant tanks
* Maintain bag filter by cleaning and changing filter as required
* Maintain PM schedule
* Coolant testing
* Ability to perform a minimum of 50% of all the PMs in the machine shop
* Safely driving a forklift with light loads at ground level.
* Ensure that all safety requirements are always followed.
** Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

Required:

*** Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Mechanically inclined
* Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.

** High school diploma or equivalent

** 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance
