As a Machine Technician you will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the coolant tank system. Must be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow company policy standards for safety and conduct.
Position Responsibilities- Maintain coolant recovery system
- Smart Skim Monitor coolant percentages in Smart Skim/CNC equipment
- Maintain coolant tanks and coolant pumps
- Maintain and repair chip conveyors and parts conveyor
- Sump and clean coolant tanks
- Maintain bag filter by cleaning and changing filter as required
- Maintain PM schedule
- Coolant testing
- Ability to perform a minimum of 50% of all the PMs in the machine shop
- Safely driving a forklift with light loads at ground level
- Ensure that all safety requirements are always followed
- Troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance
Physical Requirements
Activity Constantly (6+ hours):
Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend, Squat, Kneel, Reach above shoulder;
Frequently (3‑6 hrs.):
Drive/Operate PIV;
Occasionally (1‑3 hrs.):
Lift to 50 lbs.;
