IMS Gear is seeking a CNC Setup Technician to join our team in Gainesville, GA. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality parts, and want opportunities to grow your career, we'd like to hear from you!

Shift:

• 3rd (10:55pm-7:05am) plus $1 shift diff.

• Perform machine set-ups, changeovers, and operate equipment to support production needs
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on machines and related equipment
• Monitor machine performance, verify programs, and ensure operation within process parameters
• Load/unload machines, handle materials, and support production flow and reporting
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards (LOTO, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, IQI, and 6
  
  IMS); maintain a clean work environment

Education & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (5+ years preferred)
• Vocational or Certificate Training: desired

Skills & Abilities

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and use measurement devices
• Basic computer skills (MS Office); ERP/CRM experience a plus
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail; reliable attendance and teamwork

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving parts
• Required use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety toe shoes

• Lift and carry up to 60 lbs (additional lifting assisted by equipment)
• Push/pull up to 80 lbs using material handling equipment
• Constant standing, walking, and use of hands/fingers
• Frequent bending, reaching, and overhead movement
• Occasional climbing, kneeling, crawling, and working in tight or elevated spaces
