Maintenance Technician - 1st shift - 7am-3:30pm

Position Summary:

As a Machine Technician you will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the coolant tank system. Must be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow company policy standards for safety and conduct.

Position Responsibilities:

Maintain coolant recovery system, Smart skim Monitor coolant percentages in smart skim/CNC machines

Maintain coolant tanks and pumps on machines.

Sump and clean coolant tanks.

Maintain bag filter by cleaning and changing filter as required.

Maintain and repair chip and part conveyors.

Perform PM tasks on equipment.

Assist in additional tasks as directed by maintenance team.

Ensure that all safety requirements are always followed.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

Required:

Mechanically inclined.

Troubleshoot and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

0-2 years prior experience working with, maintaining and repairing machine shop tools.

Prior experience using power and hand tools is a plus.
