Position SummaryLeads and motivates team to ensure quality performance, cost parameters, accuracy and speed. Arranges daily team meetings to focus on smooth workflow and timely delivery. Trains new workers on department processes and operation of specific equipment.
Position Responsibilities- Plans, assigns and coordinates workload across the team
- Maintains continuity between work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Resolves operational or manufacturing problems
- Ensures daily preventative maintenance takes place
- Trains new workers as required
- Ensures compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards
- Facilitates problem solving
Leadership skills Knowledge of machinery and software necessary for quality job performance
Position QualificationsEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
Physical Requirements
Production/Manufacturing environment Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time Lifting up to 50 lbs. on regular basis Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
