The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in the manufacturing process of sealants and caulks. This role includes assisting with material handling, machine operation, quality control, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient production environment. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, the ability to work well within a team, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards of our production process.

• Assist with the setup and operation of machines involved in the production of sealants and caulks.
• Monitor the production process to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Assist in mixing raw materials, such as resins, fillers, and chemicals, according to established formulas and safety standards.
• Inspect products during and after production for defects, and ensure products meet quality control standards.
• Prepare and package finished products for shipment, ensuring they are accurately labeled and meet packaging specifications.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized production floor, including cleaning machines and workstations.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Assist in the daily maintenance of production equipment, identifying and reporting any issues that may affect production.
• Support inventory management, including counting materials, tracking stock levels, and placing requisitions for additional supplies.
• Assist in meeting production targets, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining product quality.
• Document production data, including quantities, materials used, and any issues encountered, for reporting and compliance purposes.
