About the Role:

Job Summary Neuro/Medical is a 36-bed Neuro medical and Intermediate Care nursing unit. As a mixed Neuro unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients and standard acute neuro patients including but not limited to:

Lower to high acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients

Patients post 25-hour from thrombolytic treatment

Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring

Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALSPatients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic

Chest tube care and management

Epidural/PCA management

Tracheostomy care Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications:
Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.

Educational Requirements:

Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required

Minimum Experience:

At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire Other:
