Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Quality Management:

• Auditing and Monitoring:
  Conduct regular audits and evaluations of EMS operations, patient transport processes, and documentation to identify areas for improvement.
• Data Analysis:
  Collect and analyze data on service quality, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency; prepare reports and make recommendations based on findings.
• Training and Development:
  Design and deliver education training for EMTs and medics on quality assurance practices, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with operational teams to promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Incident Investigation:
  Lead investigations into quality-related incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions are implemented.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Stay updated on industry regulations and standards; ensure company practices align with these requirements.

• Experience in quality assurance, preferably within the healthcare or EMS industry; training provided if not experienced.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ISO standards) and quality improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Certification is required.

• Must be physically able to type or work at a keyboard for most of the day.
• Must be able to view and read from a screen for long periods of time.
