Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client information and sales activity in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required to represent RXO.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, including prospecting, qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
