Fire Stop Technicians

We are currently hiring experienced Fire Stopping Technicians for residential and commercial projects. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in fast-paced construction environments. Install fire stopping systems in walls, ceilings, floors, and penetrations. Apply fire caulking, sealants, putty, and fire-rated materials. Seal openings around pipes, electrical systems, ducts, and cables. Read blueprints and follow fire code requirements.

Perform work in residential homes, apartment complexes, commercial buildings, and construction sites. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and fire protection standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Experience & Knowledge:
Previous fire stopping experience preferred. Construction or general labor background is a plus. Knowledge of fire-rated assemblies and penetration sealing methods. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Ability to read tape measures and basic construction drawings. Skills & Work Ethic:
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable attendance and punctuality required. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and meet project deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces when needed. Able to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods of time. Certifications &

Additional Requirements:

Must follow OSHA and jobsite safety regulations. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus. Reliable transportation to and from jobsites. Bilingual is a plus.

Pay Rate:
Starting $18.50/hr pay-Rate Ranges: $18.50/hr–$85.00/hr zip Code: 91950.
