JOB SUMMARY:

The Site Coordinator is responsible for directing and managing overall daily operations of the designated Clubhouse with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Establish Club programs,activities,andservicesthatprepareyouthforsuccessandcreate a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
  • Implementdailyprogramschedule,ensuring all areasarecovered byclub staff.
  • Ensureahealthyandsafeenvironment,ensuring facilities,equipmentandsuppliesare maintained.
  • Plan,develop,implement,and evaluate

    Cluboverallprograms,servicesandactivitiesto ensure they meet stated objectives and member needs and interests.
  • Compileregularreportsreflectingallactivities,attendance,and participation.
  • Manage Clubfinancialresourcesbyassistinginthedevelopmentoftheannual budgets, control expenditure against budget.
  • Createasafeandfunworkenvironmentfor Clubemployeeswheretheyreceivecoaching and feedback,haveclarityofexpectations,andarerecognizedfortheiraccomplishments.
  • Conductregularstaffmeetingtoshareinformationand promoteateam environment.
  • Developpartnershipswithparents, communityleadersand organizations.
  • Developandmaintainpublicrelationstoincreasethevisibilityofprograms,services andactivitieswithinthe

    Clubandthecommunity.
  • Work withthestaffonspecialeventstocarryoutprogramsinalldepartments.
  • Exercise authority in problems relating to members; utilize guidance and discipline plan as needed.
  • Have regular contact with members as needed to discipline, advice, and counsel.
  • Maintain contact with outside community groups, schools, members’ parents and others to assist in resolving problems and to publicize the Club.
  • Be familiar with, and ensure staff and volunteers are familiar with, the Club’s guidelines in regards to the following:
    • Monthly fire drills, including the posting of fire drills’ schedule
    • CPR/First Aid, and required supplies
    • Emergency phone numbers such as Child Abuse Hotline, Poison Control etc.
    • Posting of daily schedule
    • Posting of all emergency protocol and State employment guidelines
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Activelyparticipatein BGCAtrainings,internaltrainings,andall staff meetings.
  • Ensurethatgrant deliverablesarebeingmet andprovidedatafor reporting.
  • Supportotherprojectsasneeded.
  • Completesanyadditionalassignmentsas requestedbythemanagementstaff.

EDUCATIONAL

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Experience:
  • Aminimumofthree years’ experience in Boys & Girls Club of Lanier or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the development needs of young people or;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role wit demonstrated success in leading a team.
