Title: Warehouse Technician
Pay Rate: $18.00 – 21.42/hr on W2
Location: Gainesville, GA 30501
Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Normal shift (7:30-4:00).
Job DescriptionThe warehouse tech is responsible for inventory control management of finished goods and equipment, supporting cycle counting, documentation, and discrepancy research. The position also includes pick and pack activities to support preparation of international and domestic shipments, as well as receiving, inspecting, screening, preparation and storage of inventory.
May not own or have contact with birds or poultry
Avian Biosecurity PolicyIt is the responsibility of all Client employees to take necessary steps to avoid contact with the avian species in general. This includes, but is not limited to, commercial poultry, yard chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, wild birds and pet birds.
Should contact occur, precautions must be taken prior to entering a critical building or location:
Anyone coming into contact with the avian species should not enter into a critical building or location for 72 hours unless they have showered, changed clothes and shoes.

- Required to maintain a forklift/pallet jack operator's license.
- Able to lift up to 75-pound items and carry it a distance of 10 feet, as well as push/pull
- Must be able to squat, bet, abs stoop, as well as twisting and turning
- must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Required to be safety conscious in performing daily tasks
- must be able to manage diverse responsibilities independent of supervision
- ability to stay focus and efficient under shifting priorities
- attendance is a must, some weekend work required
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of warehouse and inventory control(computerized) experience preferred
Examples include; communication skills, intermediate Excel skills, negotiation skills, etc. Include any physical abilities required outside of a normal office setting such as ability to lift 50 lbs, ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong computer skills in Oracle and Microsoft Office
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Required to maintain a forklift/pallet jack operator's license.
- Required to be safety conscious in performing daily tasks
- Must be able to manage diverse responsibilities independent of supervision
- Ability to stay focused and efficient under shifting priorities
- Ability to lift / push / pull, 75 lbs. consistently must be able to lift and carry a weight of 75 lbs., a distance of 10 ft. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to squat, bend, and stoop, as well as twisting and turning.
- Must stand on feet for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity are important.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours. Regular attendance is a must.
- Self-motivated. Ability to think ahead to next task. Ability to work well under time constraints.
