DescriptionThe warehouse tech is responsible for inventory control management of finished goods and equipment, supporting cycle counting, documentation, and discrepancy research. The position also includes pick and pack activities to support preparation of international and domestic shipments, as well as receiving, inspecting, screening, preparation and storage of inventory.
May not own or have contact with birds or poultry.

- Required to maintain a forklift/pallet jack operator's license.
- Able to lift up to 75-pound items and carry them a distance of 10 feet, as well as push/pull.
- Must be able to squat, bet, abs stoop, as well as twisting and turning.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Required to be safety conscious in performing daily tasks.
- Must be able to manage diverse responsibilities independent of supervision.
- Ability to stay focused and efficient under shifting priorities.
- Attendance is a must, some weekend work required.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required.
- High School Diploma.
- 1 year of warehouse and inventory control (computerized) experience preferred.
The Technician II, Distribution is responsible for inventory control management of Boehringer Ingelheim finished goods and equipment, including cycle counting, documentation, and discrepancy research. The position also includes pick and pack activities to support preparation of international and domestic shipments, as well as receiving, inspecting, screening, preparation and storage of inventory.
Major Responsibilities- Maintain acceptable and accurate inventory levels of finished goods.
- Reporting of shortages, overages and all inventory levels weekly/monthly.
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels and locations for easy retrieval.
- Responsible for communicating discrepancies to appropriate management.
- Keep detailed records on transfers and disposal/destruction.
- Maintain cycle/zone counts and departmental inventory as well as assist in annual physical inventory counts.
- Investigation and documentation of any inventory discrepancies.
- Assist in reviewing and updating inventory control policies.
- Accurate pulling and packaging of product for shipment and transfers to AST warehouses.
- Process all shipments, including identification and separation of multiple material categories. Reconcile transportation and quality documentation with Oracle, product specifications, and procurement documents.
- Inspection of received materials staged for shipment, screening and filing of required documentation, as well as the storage, release and delivery of such materials, in compliance with USDA, GMP, and all company standards.
- Properly label all vaccine shipments with the appropriate documentation.
- Maintain ample stock levels of all packaging materials and related supplies required by the Distribution Warehouse.
- Properly store all materials and packaging supplies for the Warehouse.
- Properly document and maintain, in good order, all vaccine and vaccine related materials stored in or passing through the Distribution Warehouse.
- Properly receive all released product from Receiving and Packaging warehouses to the Distribution Warehouse.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the Distribution Warehouse and the materials stored there.
Performs other duties as assigned.
