In this role, you'll follow standard policies to procure raw materials, supplies, services, parts, and equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal pricing, quality, and terms. Main Function Responsibilities

Prepare daily purchase orders for acquiring items, aiming to control vendor delivery, performance, and product quality.

Communicate requirements with suppliers daily and weekly. Obtain delivery commitments and reconcile open orders. Follow up on shortages.

Handle returns of rejected items and ensure transactions are processed accurately and promptly.

Conduct supplier visits
, analyze delivery performance, and publish results internally and to vendors monthly. Coordinate quarterly reviews.

Collaborate with quality to analyze non-conformances and act as the liaison for Safran Seats USA.

Participate in meetings related to production and programs as needed.

Report key metrics monthly, including Purchase Price Variances, On-Time Delivery, Freight, Expedites, Shortages. Share results with managers.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Work Experience & Technical

Skills:

Basic understanding of ERP systems, ability to read blueprints, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Professional

Skills:

Clear written communication, ability to operate office equipment, and effective English communication skills.
Behavioral

Skills:

Initiative, responsibility, adaptability, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable: APICS certification, MRP experience (MAPICS, M3, JD Edwards, SAP).
Physical Demands: Extended sitting, use of office equipment, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment: Office setting with occasional visits to production and warehouse areas.
Travel: International and domestic travel, less than one week internationally.
