Adjunct Faculty – Accounting

This position carries the obligation to uphold the Mission of North Central Texas College. The instructor will provide learning activities and support that contribute to the achievement of course and program objectives, academic advising, committee participation, and professional development.

• Teach college courses in Principles of Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and/or Technical Accounting, scheduled during the day on the Gainesville campus.
• Treat students and colleagues with respect.
• Actively participate in institutional effectiveness initiatives, such as student learning outcomes and program‑level outcomes.
• Focus teaching and outreach efforts on student success.
• Other duties as assigned, which may change based on departmental needs.

Master’s degree in Accounting or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting.

Must be willing to teach in‑person classes on the Gainesville campus.

Preferable community college teaching experience.

Work experience in bookkeeping, auditing, forensic accounting, managerial accounting, or staff accounting.

$680 per course load.
