Job Summary: This role supports the Mission of North Central Texas College by providing engaging art instruction, academic advising, committee participation, and professional development. Responsibilities include designing learning activities, fostering student success, and contributing to institutional effectiveness initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Teach college art courses.
• Treat students and colleagues with respect.
• Participate in institutional effectiveness processes, including student learning outcomes and program level outcomes.
• Focus teaching and outreach efforts on student success.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties may change based on departmental needs.

Required

Education:

• Master’s degree in a related discipline or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in that discipline.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Exhibition of respect and professionalism in a spirit of collegiality.
• Ability to promote an effective learning environment in lectures and labs.

Preferred Skills & Abilities: None specified.

Required Experience:

• Prefer community college teaching experience.

Location: All Campuses

Pay Rate: $680 per load unit

Eligibility: Subject to criminal background check; employees must reside in Oklahoma or Texas.
