Adjunct Professor (Clinicals) – Vocational Nursing

Position location based upon enrollment. Travel may be expected between various locations. Classes scheduled during the day or evenings depending on enrollment.
Salary: $30 per hour (no more than 19 hours per week).
The role supports North Central Texas College’s Mission by delivering clinical instruction, advising, committee participation, and community engagement. The instructor is expected to provide learning activities that help students achieve course and program objectives while maintaining a committed, professional, and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide direct guidance and instruction in the clinical arena.
- Treat students and colleagues with respect.
- Be actively involved in institutional effectiveness activities, including student and program level outcomes and skill achievement.
- Focus teaching and outreach efforts on student success.
- Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change based on departmental needs.
- RN or LVN with current Texas license.
- Three (3) years current acute‑care experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Above‑average computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Exhibition of respect and professionalism.
- Ability to promote an effective learning environment in lecture and lab experiences.
- BSN degree.
- Five (5) years current acute‑care experience.
Part‑time clinical instructor position up to 19 hours per week, with opportunities to teach both classroom and clinical sessions.
