Adjunct Professor - Esthetics

Employees must reside in Oklahoma or Texas. The position offers a salary of $27 per hour, with a maximum of 19 hours per week, based on the Gainesville campus. A criminal background check is required.

This position carries the obligation to uphold the Mission of North Central Texas College by providing educational support and related services. The instructor is responsible for delivering learning activities aimed at achieving course and program objectives, contributing to the college’s educational environment and community, and offering academic advising, committee participation, professional development, and other service support as needed.

Level One Workforce Certificate in Cosmetology or Esthetics.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Exhibition of respect and professionalism, collegial spirit.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to promote an effective learning environment for lecture and lab experiences.

• Work experience providing esthetics services in a spa or salon.
• Makeup certifications.
• Eyelash extension certifications.

• Three years of current work‑related experience.
• Knowledge of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations rules and regulations related to Cosmetology.
• Proficiency in classroom theory and lab applications for Cosmetology courses.

• Four or more years of related work experience.
• Community college and/or public school teaching experience.
